Nos hicimos amigos con R., en una de las redes sociales de Internet en donde estoy registrado. Luego de intercambiar información con mi nueva amiga, empezamos a chatear regularmente. No tardé en descubrir en R. una persona especial, plena de juventud, muy inteligente, creyente en valores espirituales, bendecida con diversos dones y talentos. Cualquiera podría predecirle a mi amiga un futuro maravilloso por delante. No obstante, ninguno creería que R. tiene un lado oscuro que la sabotea y que sabe disimular bien. Es que R, sufre una serie de trastornos emocionales y psíquicos que la están destruyendo, hecho que me dejó muy perplejo y me llevó a indagar el tema que expondré en este articulo.
La realidad es que R. tiene un alto grado de depresión y su vida yo diría como que pende de un hilo. Se ha vuelto dependiente de tranquilizantes, toma remedios controlados para poder dormir, y ya en tres ocasiones intentó el suicidio con sobredosis. Sucede que en el pasado, ella sufrió una decepción profunda en su matrimonio que no consiguió superar, lo que en consecuencia ha generado en ella una visión distorsionada de la vida. R. a pesar de ser una mujer atractiva y bonita, a pesar de que recibe continuamente comentarios alentadores de sus amigos en su red social, quienes le brindan palabras de afecto y elogios por su belleza, R. al contrario se ha vuelto escéptica, no cree en nada, hoy se siente fea, vieja y gorda, ha perdido completamente sus sueños y ya no espera mas nada de la vida. R. se siente vieja a pesar de contar con solo 34 años de vida. A lo largo de nuestras charlas y todos mis intentos de poder ayudarla a la distancia, me he sentido limitado e impotente al escucharle de querer desistir de la vida en 3 diferentes ocasiones, dejándome con una cierta preocupación, ya que si bien algunas mujeres logran superar este problema, muchas otras terminan en tragedia.
El problema más trágico es que R. no es la única persona que se siente así. Existen tantas personas que han exterminado su deseo y el placer de vivir y su libertad. Puedo atestiguarlo, he conocido a diversas personas que sufren de esa misma esclavitud. Quizás usted amigo lector conozca a alguien en ese estado, o quizás tu misma/mo seas otra victima de esta paranoia colectiva. Casos tristes como este, tienden a aumentar cada día, se dice que las mujeres principalmente han sido el blanco preferido de esta terrible esclavitud. Cerca de 600 millones de mujeres se sienten esclavas de esta mazmorra psíquica. Es la mayor tiranía de todos los tiempos y una de las más devastadoras de la salud psíquica.

Como hacemos para no caer en esa trampa? Como levantar nuestra autoestima? Como tener una imagen sana de nosotros mismos? Pues antes que nada necesitamos restaurar nuestra relación y conexión con nuestro Creador, para que nos veamos como nos ve El.
En la bellísima historia de amor del Libro de los Cantares, existe un paralelo tan romántico del Amor infinito que siente Dios por la humanidad. Un amor apasionado por los seres humanos difícil de entender. Pero que gran Amor!!! Un Amor inconcebible!!! La pregunta es, como es que a pesar de tantas transgresiones, provocaciones y rebeliones de la especie humana contra nuestro propio Creador, como es posible que ese Ser Superior sea tan paciente, y aun continué amándonos de una manera tan especial. Yo me pregunto, que belleza ve El Padre Celestial en nosotros, que no hemos sido ya consumidos de una vez o borrados de la faz de la tierra, por causa de haberlo decepcionado tantas veces.
El mejor ejemplo es de un hombre excepcional que comunicaba ese amor mejor que nadie!! Jesucristo! El fue el que mas defendió a las mujeres en todos los tiempos. El Maestro de Maestros, quien corrió riesgos peligrosos por ellas. A pesar de una cultura hostil y dogmática en aquellos tiempos, El tuvo el coraje de tratar a las prostitutas en seres humanos de la más alta dignidad, y de aquellas mujeres despreciadas por el sistema, ser tratadas como a princesas.
Recuerdo cierta vez de una escena conmovedora inolvidable que vi en un clásico del cine cuando era adolescente, la película musical de Don Quijote, interpretada por Peter Otoole y Sophia Loren. Don Quijote se enamora de Aldonza (Dulcinea), una sencilla camarera de bar, muy “conocida” por los hombres del lugar. A pesar de su triste realidad y pasado cuestionable, Don Quijote se enamora de ella y la trata como a una verdadera dama. Pero para ella, Don Quijote es solo un viejo loco de remate. En un arrebato de cólera, ella toma un trapo sucio de limpiar las mesas, y se lo tira por encima. Pero para un hombre enamorado, a través de sus ojos apasionados de amor, el no percibe el olor mugriento de una rejilla húmeda de mesa, el solo consigue ver un pañuelo de seda arrojado por una doncella. Luego el le canta de manera tan tierna, “Dulcinea. Dulcinea, veo el cielo cuando te veo a ti, Dulcinea, eres como una oración, eres un susurro angelical”
Mi querido amigo lector, quizás el ambiente en que has vivido, te ha llevado a desvalorizarte tanto, que no consigas ver todo lo bueno que hay en ti, porque muchos se burlaron de ti o te discriminaron. Quizás tantas críticas y comentarios negativos que acumulaste en los archivos de tu mente, crearon una estructura tan fuerte en tu conciencia que no te permite ver más que tus defectos, fracasos e imperfecciones. Quizás la vida te ha golpeado de tal manera que hoy solo consigues compararte negativamente con los demás y te has tornado en alguien frustrado, triste, amargado y solitario.
Aunque me dirijo principalmente a las mujeres que hoy sufren de una baja auto-estima, que han perdido el placer de vivir, y han concebido un profundo autorechazo, escribo también para ti y para cualquier persona que se sienta insatisfecho consigo mismo, que ha caído en esta esclavitud y se encuentra hoy luchando contra una sociedad que se tornó una fabrica de gente enferma y depresiva.
Porqué nos cuesta ver esa belleza que hay dentro de nosotros? Qué es lo que ve Dios en nosotros que a nosotros nos cuesta ver? Porque andamos tan ocupados o distraídos con tantos quehaceres que no tomamos tiempo para contemplar lo bello a nuestro alrededor? No te das cuenta que los reveses de la vida sirvieron para pulirte, maximizando tu belleza interior, así como lo es el proceso de pulido cuando se extrae un diamante precioso de las minas, y hoy no te das cuenta lo valioso que eres.
Si nos valorásemos más a nosotros mismos y a los demás, seriamos capaces de bombardear ciudades y disparar misiles en lugares públicos, lleno de niños, ancianos, mujeres y personas inocentes? Imagínate como seria diferente el mundo en que vivimos, si viéramos mas allá de lo que vemos, si descubriéramos la belleza y el valor infinito que hay en nosotros y en aquellos que nos rodean
Yo no se como te ves a ti mismo, mi querida amiga o amigo lector, pero ha llegado el tiempo en que debes dejar de mirarte en el espejo de la vida, de la misma manera en que te has mirado siempre. Citando al brasileño Dr. Cury, “Porque cada mujer, hombre, adolescente y niño necesita descubrir la belleza única y particular que lleva dentro de si. Deberíamos tener un romance con la propia vida, pues cada individuo posee una belleza interior, física y psíquica, muy especial y única”.
Existe una belleza interior deslumbrante en ti que el mundo a tu alrededor necesita contemplar y disfrutar antes que pases a la eternidad. Te sugiero que no la escondas mas. Pues uno de los propósitos más importantes en tu vida al ser creado, es exhibir esa belleza que hay en ti y mostrar a todos los que te rodean lo verdaderamente lindo que eres.
San Mateo 5:14 “Así alumbre vuestra luz (tu belleza interior) delante de los hombres, para que glorifiquen a vuestro Padre que esta en los cielos”.

2) ESPIRITUALIDAD : PRODUCTOS DE BELLEZA PARA EL ALMA
El limpiador de tu alma es el perdón.
Deberás usarlo todo el tiempo, apenas veas una impureza, aplícalo.
No te acuestes nunca sin haber pedido perdón y sin haber perdonado.

Con la fé te protegerás de las inclemencias de la vida, mirarás por encima de las

Si usas a diario estos productos de belleza, tu alma se mantendrá siempre bella, limpia y
tu corazón será puro. Te saciarás de bien, de modo que te rejuvenecerás como el águila. El que alguien toque mi vida es un privilegio, Tocar la vida de alguien es un honor,
Pero el ayudar a que otros toquen sus propias vidas...

3) DESARROLLO PERSONAL: “SR, ES UD ARTISTA?. NO SRA, SOY PLOMERO!”
Cuentan que Un grupo de turistas observaba como se ocultaba el sol desde la terraza de un hotel en un lugar de veraneo. Un tipo gordo, de aspecto poco romántico, se quedó hasta que el último rayo de luz desapareció. Extasiado ante la belleza de lo que veía.
Una de las invitadas, que era mas observadora que los demás, se acercó luego al lado de el en la cena, y le pregunto intrigada:
- “Parece haber disfrutado mucho del atardecer, Sr. B., ¿es usted un artista?”.
- “No, señora, soy plomero” contesto con una leve sonrisa,
- “Pero sucede que estuve ciego durante cinco años!”.
“Tenes ojos para ver pero no ven” ¿Cuántas veces le hemos agradecido a Dios por nuestra vista? Sin nuestros ojos seria imposible contemplar lo bello. Nos acostumbramos a andar tan apurados y a no tener tiempo para nada, que se ha vuelto una rutina para todos, así la belleza de lo natural, pasa tantas veces desapercibido, y nuestra capacidad de asombro es nula.
Toma tiempo para contemplar lo bello, y tu vida nunca más será la misma!

4) LIDERAZGO: EL ESPEJO
Aunque fuera brillaba el sol, mi mente estaba oscurecida por nubarrones.
Era una mañana ideal, de esas que lo invitan a uno a salir para inhalar la fragancia del rocío fresco y bañarse en el esplendor de los primeros rayos del sol. Sin embargo, apenas si miré por la ventana. Hice caso omiso de aquella imagen de perfección y me dirigí raudamente al espejo. No me gustó lo que vi en él.
Llevaba meses poniendo ese espejo delante de mí. No sé de dónde lo saqué. El hecho es que un día observé mi imagen en él y de ahí en más no pude dejar de hacerlo. Durante mucho tiempo había dejado de notar muchas otras cosas. El espejo siempre se me ponía delante. Me devolvía la mirada y me recordaba todas mis imperfecciones. Nunca me mostraba otra cosa que no fuera todos los aspectos en los que no daba la talla, todas las situaciones en que había fallado, todos los rasgos que me hacían inferior. Y nunca me dejaba en paz.
A lo largo de aquel espléndido día tuve muchas ocasiones de reír con amigos, de sonreír a los niños, de ayudar a alguien. Se me presentaron muchas oportunidades de disfrutar de felicidad. Pero lo único que veía era mi propia imagen reflejada en aquel espejo. Estaba ciega a todo lo demás, perdida en mi mundillo, en el que solo había cabida para mi espejo y para mí.
Aunque fuera brillaba el sol, mi mente estaba oscurecida por nubarrones. Todo lo que me sucedía parecía confirmar que nadie se interesaba en mí o notaba siquiera mi presencia. Miré mi espejo, que me dijo que yo no tenía ninguna cualidad digna de admiración. Tenía demasiados defectos para que alguien me amara o para ser feliz. Observaba las risas, las sonrisas y las experiencias felices de los demás, pero desde cierta distancia, desde mi rincón, mirando de vez en cuando por encima de mi espejo. «¿Cómo pueden ser tan felices? ¿Acaso no se dan cuenta de que estoy aquí? ¿No ven cuánto estoy sufriendo?»
Cada vez que trataba de salir de mi rinconcito, el espejo me decía a voces que no tenía caso hacerlo y me ponía delante de la cara mi propia imagen. Yo me quedaba mirándola fijamente. ajena al mundo, y me hundía cada vez más en el oscuro abismo del desaliento y la desesperanza.
Entonces se me ocurrió: «¿Por qué no cubro el espejo? Es cierto que tengo defectos, que nunca voy a ser perfecta, que voy a seguir cometiendo errores. ¿Y qué? No puedo pasarme la vida haciendo caso omiso de toda esperanza de felicidad por el solo hecho de no tener todas las buenas cualidades que quisiera tener. Más me vale olvidarme de mí misma e interesarme en los demás, ignorar el espejo y ser más feliz».
Me tomó mucho esfuerzo, pero finalmente cubrí el espejo. Al principio me sentía insegura sin él. Me sentía expuesta, vulnerable. Me incomodaba la idea de que la gente pudiera aceptarme tal como era, con todas mis falencias, defectos y todo lo demás. Sin embargo, pronto me di cuenta de que cuanto más me permitía actuar con naturalidad y más me interesaba en los demás (aunque al principio me resultó difícil), más feliz era. El resplandor y la calidez de los rayos de una paz bendita y duradera penetraron los nubarrones que se arremolinaban sobre mi cabeza, disipándolos por completo.
El espejo sigue ahí. Nunca va a desaparecer. Pero lo mantengo fuera de mi vista. Persiste el peligro de volver a tomarlo y quedar nuevamente cautiva de él. Podría regresar a mi anterior estado de depresión, retraimiento, introversión y automarginación. Pero cada vez que tengo la tentación de echarle un vistazo, me repito cuánto más feliz soy ahora, desde que acepté mis imperfecciones y me propuse no dejar que me abatieran. Aunque nunca voy a ser exactamente como desearía, tengo mucho que ofrecer a los demás. Y no puedo hacerlo si me quedo absorta mirándome al espejo.
Esta mañana, cuando desperté, caía una lluvia fría y torrencial. Los truenos retumbaban, y las densas nubes me impedían ver el sol. Aunque el tiempo era deprimente, en mi corazón brillaba el sol, y el cielo estaba teñido de azul. ¡Era un día perfecto!

5) AUTOAYUDA:
Reforzando la autoestima
Si bien es importante cuidar la apariencia física y sentirse contenta con ella, es esencial amar nuestra belleza interior. Para esto necesitamos estar conscientes de nuestras habilidades y capacidades, y explotarlas al máximo, porque estar bien por dentro te hace brillar.
La autoestima en una persona funciona por las identificaciones que tiene con la gente que la rodea de pequeña. Lo que nos dicen nuestros padres y nuestros maestros se queda en el inconsciente, y es lo que refuerza nuestra autoestima con aspectos negativos o positivos cuando crecemos.
La doctora Cristina Curiel, psicoanalista doctorada, catedrática de la escuela de Psicología de
Esto a veces causa depresión, insatisfacción y muchas sensaciones que deterioran poco a poco la seguridad que tiene una mujer.
Para la doctora Curiel, los niños deben aprender desde pequeños la importancia de cultivar su belleza interior. Los padres deben proporcionarles toda ayuda, decirles siempre la verdad, enseñarles que no se puede ser el mejor en todo, no exigirles cosas que no puedan cumplir, ir a su paso y sobre todo darles mucho amor.
¿Y el físico?
Si bien el físico no debe pesar en las prioridades de una mujer, su apariencia y el como se siente termina teniendo un gran peso psicológico y emocional. Por eso muchos especialistas recomiendan cultivar el cuidado del físico sin ningún tipo de obsesiones. Curiel nos menciona algunos tips para que una mujer refuerce su seguridad:
- Si te sientes mal contigo misma, actívate. La productividad es el mensaje directo para el cerebro de que podemos hacer algo.
- Date cuenta de cuanto te criticas a ti misma. Haz un alto cuando tengas este tipo de pensamientos y recuerda las razones por las que te amas.
- Humor y risa. La risa activa todo tu cuerpo y te hace sentir mucho mejor, si tienes sentido del humor estarás más sana y verás las cosas de distinta manera.
- Da lugar a las emociones. Si estás triste date espacio para sentirlo pero no te detengas, arréglate y sal a la enfrentar la vida.
- Consiéntete. No dejes nunca de amarte, un buen sueño, un facial o un masaje en algún spa te recordará lo hermosa que eres.
¿Y el cabello
Sorprendentemente se ha descubierto que la mujer le da un peso importantísimo al cuidado de su cabello. Según una encuesta mundial hecha por la marca para el cuidado del cabello Sedal (Sunsilk), el 87 por ciento de las mujeres son más abiertas a las oportunidades cuando están satisfechas con su pelo.
Stones, uno de los psicoterapeutas más importantes de Gran Bretaña, dice que la preocupación emocional sobre el cabello es extrema. Según un estudio que realizó en el 2005, más energía se invierte en el mantenimiento del cabello del que se justifica en la realidad. Esto es, sin duda, porque el autoestima y la confianza están íntimamente ligadas al cabello.
"La vida no puede esperar" es el lema creado por Sedal para motivar a las jóvenes del mundo a generar productividad en sus vidas y satisfacción con ellas mismas para poder hacer que las cosas sucedan positivamente a su alrededor.
Esta marca asegura que si una mujer se siente bien acerca de su cabello, se enfrentará al mundo con confianza.

Sinopsis de Liderazgo con propositos – Rick Warren
Proverbios 28.2b cuando el gobernante es entendido, se mantiene el orden.
Las naciones, las familias, los negocios y las iglesias solo son fuertes y permanecen cuando hay un
buen liderazgo. Rick Warren nos plantea “Los Principios del Liderazgo”:
1. Nada sucede hasta que alguien proporcione liderazgo. Todo se edifica o se derrumba según
sea el liderazgo. Donde no hay líderes, la gente hace lo que mejor le parece y la
consecuencia es la inestabilidad.
2. Liderazgo es influencia. Para bien o para mal… El liderazgo no es cuestión de edad, la
cuestión no es si eres líder o no. La pregunta es: ¿Eres buen líder?
3. La prueba de liderazgo es esta: ¿Alguien te está siguiendo? El liderazgo no es cuestión de
títulos o de puestos. Es cuestión de influencia. Los verdaderos líderes son los que marcan el
paso, los que influyen, los creativos que solucionan los problemas. Si eres un verdadero líder, no
se lo tienes que recordar a nadie. No puedes forzar a nadie a seguirte, hagas lo que hagas.
Tienes que inspirar a la gente que para que te siga!!
4. El fundamento del liderazgo es el carácter, no el carisma. La gente puede decir que tienes
una excelente reputación (Reputación es lo que lo que la gente dice que eres. Carácter es lo
que realmente eres). El liderazgo no se basa en lo académico. Es cuestión de carácter; es
cuestión de quién eres. El liderazgo no es cuestión de personalidad, lo que sí se necesita para
el liderazgo es carácter. Es la única cosa que tienen en común todos los grandes líderes.
Hebreos 13.7 nos enseña tres características de los buenos líderes:
a. Tienen un mensaje digno de recordar.
b. Tienen un estilo de vida digno de considerar.
c. Tienen una fe digna de imitar.
5. Se puede aprender a ser líder. Las personas se convierten en líderes por la forma en que
responden antes las circunstancias, el liderazgo se puede aprender. En el momento en que
dejemos de aprender dejaremos de ser líderes. Para ser líder lleva toda una vida, debemos
buscar siempre maneras de mejorar.
